1.Abstract

Binding studies using fluorescence spectroscopy have gained significant attention in recent years due to their ability to provide detailed insights into molecular interactions, offering a powerful tool for examining the binding affinities and kinetics of biomolecules. This report focuses on the implementation of fluorescence spectroscopy to study the interactions between a target molecule and its binding partner, which could be a protein, nucleic acid, or small molecule. The use of fluorescence as a detection method allows for high sensitivity and specificity, enabling the observation of binding events in real-time. In this approach, a fluorescent probe, which can be a naturally occurring fluorophore or a synthetic dye, is used to mark one of the binding partners.
