Disney parks would provide visitors magical experience that takes guests away from reality. Thus visitors cannot see any of the real building in Disney parks and no food from outside vendors is allowed in. All of the staffs, cars, stuffs except Disney characters move through the underground passages. Disney characters are prohibited to take off the masks all the time.
Moreover Disney parks have adopted the service philosophy of Walt Disney. There are 4 points; Needs, Wants, Stereotypes and Emotions which is also known as NWSE. The employees should meet the minimum requirements of their business. When they provide that extra optional level of service, they differentiate themselves and give people more reason to come back to them. Stereotypes require them to overcome negative impressions a customer might have of them or their business. Emotions are often more powerful than logic. (Wikipedia: Walt Disney Parks and Resorts).
