I. Introduction of the project
In the accounting class this semester, we learned how management effectiveness and customer satisfaction measurement is recorded through 10-k. Our team, team number 6, chose two publicly traded companies in the cruise in¡¦(»ý·«)

ncial statements analyses which we have learned in class. These include comparative analysis, common size analysis, and ratio analysis. We will pick 3 items from the balance sheet and income statement of each company and three ratios, and make a thorough analysis of the pattern it showed. By looking at the patterns of the companies and the analyses we have made, we will also make some suggestions for the future. We hope by the end of this project, we will better understand the cruise industry and the various financial statements. This knowledge we gain through this final project will hopefully allow us to have a better understanding of accounting and will improve our ability to analyze and make future suggestions.
