NHN was first formed by merging ¡°NAVER¡± and ¡°HANGAME¡±. Generally, there is one CEO in one corporation. But NHN adapted co-CEO system. NAVER¡¯s Hae-jin Lee and HANGAME¡¯s Beom-su Kim managed NHN together without a big conflict. CEO Lee stepped down as president in 2004, Hui-yeong Choi undertook a president recently. It¡¯s a typical example of co-CEO system which is really rare in Korea.
